The interview decides it

For the United States, documents support your answers but do not replace them. The consular interview is the decision point, and appointment availability often drives your timeline more than processing does. Preparation here means being able to explain your own plan, in your own words.

Documents to arrange

The base list for United States. Your exact set depends on the route and comes as a named checklist after your assessment — but nothing here is wasted effort.

Build my full checklist
  • Passport with adequate validity
  • I-20 from the university
  • SEVIS fee payment receipt
  • DS-160 confirmation page
  • Visa appointment confirmation
  • Academic transcripts and test scores
  • Financial documents and sponsor affidavit
  • Sponsor ITRs and bank statements
  • Property and asset documents
  • Employment or business proof, for visitor visas

How your file moves

Six stages. At every point you know what is pending, with whom, and what it costs.

  1. Free assessment

Thirty minutes. We look at your marks, funds, work history and travel record and say which route is realistic.

  2. Route and written quote

One page: the route, why it fits, the full cost split into our fee and third-party fees, and the honest timeline.

  3. Document collection

A named checklist for your exact route. Every scan vetted for the small errors that trigger queries.

  4. Drafting and forms

SOP, cover letter, sponsorship affidavit, employment record and the application forms, reviewed with you.

  5. Filing and biometrics

Online submission, government fee paid from your own account, appointment, biometrics and medicals.

  6. Decision and landing

We track the file and answer query letters. On approval: travel checklist, forex, SIM and accommodation leads.

Why United States files actually get refused

Not theory. These are the failure points we see repeatedly on this route — and every one of them is fixable before you file.

  • Answers that do not match the fileThe officer compares what you say to what you filed. Rehearsed lines that contradict your documents end the interview.
  • Unclear source of fundingWho is paying, from what income, and why. If you cannot answer plainly, the file fails.
  • No credible reason to returnSection 214(b) refusals turn on this. Document your ties rather than assuming they are obvious.
  • Course chosen for the visa, not the careerIf the programme does not fit your background, the officer will say so.

United States questions

If yours is not here, call and ask it. The first conversation costs nothing.

Why do US visas get refused so often?

Most refusals are under section 214(b) — the officer was not satisfied you would return. It is a judgement made in a short interview, which is why preparation matters more here than paperwork volume.

Can I reapply after a refusal?

Yes, and there is no fixed waiting period. But reapplying without changing anything usually produces the same result. We work out what was not satisfied first.

What is SEVIS?

The student tracking system. You pay the SEVIS fee after receiving your I-20 and before the visa interview, and you must carry the receipt.

Is United States the right country for you?

Send us your marks, your funds position and your timeline. We will tell you whether this route fits — and say so plainly if another one fits better.
